I am passionate about investigating classical and contemporary theater, sifting for commonalities between the world of the play and our world today, highlighting our shared humanity.

After graduating from the UMN Guthrie Theater Actor Training Program, I ventured on to continue studying. I was accepted into Acting Studio Chicago’s Advanced scene study class under the tutelage of Kurt Naebig. While there, I grew my play catalogue, performing and dissecting scenes from playwright’s such as John Patrick Shanley, Robert Askins, and Larissa FastHorse.

This past Summer I was an actor and producer of a play festival in Chicago titled Foaming At The Mouth which involved stage readings of “freaky new works and wildly reimagined classics”. The process introduced me to new Chicago playwrights and actors who are similarly driven by creation through storytelling and collaboration.
